Life is short
So they say
But who are they to cause dismay
I prefer the longer view, knowing that each day is new
Each breath, each site, each sound, each smell
Life’s brevity fades like the ring of a bell
For only when the end comes round, do we begin to wax profound
So let me say with one loud yell, all of them can go to hell
