After some serious cogitation, I have concluded that people of this world can’t possibly be as stupid as they are portrayed by the sources of information that are laid before me. The things I see on TV, read in the news, and see posted on the various social media platforms that I peruse therefore must all be created and presented to me to elicit some sort of reaction or response. I conclude that I am unwitting actor in some sort of play or movie. Not a good movie either. More of a William Shatner in a community play at the Idaho State Fair sort of movie.
Furthermore, for those that may or may not have been following my mindless meanderings for the past couple of decades, being the True Creator of the Universe and all, I must conclude that I created this whole shit show just to confuse myself, and perhaps to awaken me from the dream state I have lulled myself into, lo these many years. This obviously blossoms into a paradox, since how could I be the unwitting actor in a play that I created to confuse myself? Well no more! I’m onto myself and won’t be fooled again.
For those unfamiliar with my previous conclusions about reality, I feel that now may be the time to reiterate. At a young age, the thought occurred to me that maybe reality is not all that it is cracked up to be. Could it be that the reality that I am perceiving, and continue to perceive, is actually being created by me in a continuous stream of baloney that I myself am continuously swallowing? Furthermore, could it be that you all are just figments of my fertile imaginings and that I am in fact the True Creator of the Universe? The thoughts you are thinking right now are being placed in your imaginary heads and you should obviously question whether you in fact are you/me/us.
I leave you with a quotation from one of the great philosophers of our time
I’ll tip my hat to the new Constitution
Pete Townshend
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
